Police Search for Alleged Bicycle Thief in West Harlem

MANHATTAN — Police are searching for a man wanted for stealing a bicycle in West Harlem.

Around 5:20 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27, the suspect, described as a 25-year-old man, broke into the basement of a building near West 125th Street and Broadway, police said.

In a video released by police, the suspect can be seen lifting up his shirt as he glances around the basement and then, later, wheeling a bicycle out of the building.

The suspect is described as about 5 feet 9 inches tall and around 165 pounds with black hair.
