Police Release Video of Suspect in Groping of 12-Year-Old Girl

JACKSON HEIGHTS — Police released the video of a man who allegedly followed a 12-year-old girl and groped her from behind last Tuesday in Queens.

The incident occurred about 2 p.m. in the confines of the 115th Precinct, the NYPD said, which patrols Jackson Heights, East Elmhurst and North Corona.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction.

In the video, the man pauses behind a truck, and checks out what is happening behind him several times.

The man has been described as 20 to 30 years old with scars from acne, by police, who released an eariler sketch of the suspect. He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a black-and-white patterned hat, a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
