BROOKLYN — The G train began running limited service in Brooklyn, the Q and the F lines have been restored to Coney Island and B train service has been extended to Brighton Beach, according to announcements on the MTA website Wednesday.

The G train is running the full length of its line between Court Square Station in Queens and Church Avenue in Brooklyn, but with "considerable delays" due to ongoing repair work, the MTA said.

F and Q train service has been restored to the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue station for the first time since Hurricane Sandy hit on Monday Oct. 29. Prior to Wednesday, F trains had been terminating in Brooklyn at Avenue X, while Q trains were only running as far as Brighton Beach.

Service on the B train was extended on Wednesday to Brighton Beach. The B had previously only been running to Kings Highway.

Repairs are ongoing on the L train line in Brooklyn, which is only running between Broadway Junction Station and Rockaway Parkway Station, making local stops. Crews have been pumping seawater from the L train tunnel under the East River, the MTA wrote on its Twitter account this week, and at about 1pm Wednesday, the MTA tweeted that the tunnel was pumped dry.
