Trio Mugged Man in LIC Apartment Building, Cops Say

QUEENS — Cops are looking for three men they say assaulted and robbed a man as he entered a Long Island City apartment building.

The victim walked into the building at 41-01 Vernon Blvd. at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 12 when three young men approached him, police said.

They assaulted and robbed him before running off, police said.

The victim sustained some minor injuries.

Police described the attackers as young men between the ages of 16 and 20.
