MANHATTAN SUPREME COURT — One of Anna Gristina's high-class hookers pleaded guilty to one count of prostitution Tuesday and was sentenced to a "conditional discharge" — meaning she won't serve any jail time.
Catherine DeVries, 32, was charged with one count of prostitution for engaging in a sex show with another woman, Mhairiangela Bottone, for a man who turned out to be an undercover officer.
Prosecutors allege Gristina, and her accomplice, Jaynie May Baker, arranged the tryst.
The accused UES madam and mother of four pleaded guilty to one count of promoting prostitution last month after a long and public saga. Baker similarly cut a deal with prosecutors in August.
DeVries' court-appointed lawyer, Leonard Levenson, said his client has been the "subject of considerable embarrassment" because of the attention the Gristina case has garnered.
In asking for no jail time, Levenson told Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan that DeVries has no prior convictions and is currently living in California and starting a business — though he didn't elaborate on her current work.
Prosecutors asked Merchan for 90-day probation for DeVries, but the judge let her out with a conditional discharge. It was unclear what, if any, conditions were set in place for DeVries.
But much of the hearing was conducted at the judge's bench — and ordered sealed by Merchan.
DeVries, wearing stiletto heels and a tight pencil skirt scurried out of court without talking to reporters.
The other alleged prostitute in the case is due in court in November.
Gristina, a suburban soccer mom who was accused of running a high-end prostitution ring out of an East Side apartment, agreed to a deal with prosecutors late last month in exchange for the four months she’d already served on Rikers Island. She’ll also have to serve five years probation.
Prosecutors charged Gristina with running a a high-powered prostitution ring with a client list that included high-profile public officials, and law enforcement sources said she brokered a sex romp for former U.S. Sen. John Edwards.
The DA originally brought the Gristina probe as a public corruption case, claiming they had five years worth of wiretaps where they heard Gristina boasting of high-profile johns and of having close contacts among cops who were protecting her.
But after her arrest in February and stint in jail, Gristina never named names and prosecutors weren't able to make the corruption allegations stick. She pleaded guilty to a single count of promoting prostitution by providing DeVries and Bottone for an undercover officer to watch have a sex romp.
