Lindsay Lohan Spent Nine Hours With Congressional Aide Before Calling Cops

By Murray Weiss | October 2, 2012 6:59am

NEW YORK CITY — Hard-partying Lindsay Lohan spent more than nine hours bouncing between restaurants and nightclubs with star-struck Congressional aide Christian LaBella and other members of her entourage in tow before allegedly getting into a hotel room smackdown at dawn.

The problem-plagued “Mean Girls” actress — who landed in hot water late last month after a Chelsea club-goer claimed she clipped him with her car — claimed LaBella choked her and pushed her down a staircase at the swank W Hotel on Park Ave. South early Sunday.

According to sources, Lohan's night of partying with LaBella and her friends came to a screeching halt shortly before 6 a.m. when she saw him snapping photos of her with his cellphone.

She allegedly used a clever ruse to get her hands on the phone, telling him that the battery of her phone had died after their long night of partying and that she wanted to borrow his because she needed to call her mother, Dina.

LaBella gave her his phone, which she took to another room and quickly looked through the photos to see if she was there. The cell phone contained several photos of Lohan — and also had the starlet on video.

“[She] confirmed that he had in fact taken multiple photographs of her throughout the evening,” according to an NYPD report.

“Ms. Lohan attempted to leave the hotel room with Mr. LaBella’s cellular telephone for the purpose to deleting the photographs,” the report continues. LaBella “pursued” her to “retrieve his cellular phone” and that is when all hell broke loose.

Lohan claimed that LaBella grabbed her, struggled with her and choked her in an attempt to get back his phone. She fled into a hotel stairwell and pulled a fire alarm, which brought security and the NYPD.

LaBella was initially arrested, but charges were withdrawn as he and Lohan filed cross complaints against each other, leaving more questions than answers in the latest late-night fiasco in the laundry list of trouble Lohan has encountered.

According to police sources, the troubled actress’s Saturday night on the town started innocently enough at 9:45 p.m. at Catch Restaurant at 21 Ninth Ave. at West 13th Street, a loud massive dining space known as a pre-club hangout for Meat Packing night crawlers.

Lohan was at the eatery with friends — including model Cory Kennedy, actor/filmmaker Theis Jessen, and Chanel Omari, a BRAVO network celeb and media specialist — when LaBella joined them.

Kennedy, who was dubbed a teen “It Girl” several years ago, introduced Lohan to LaBella — who works for Illinois Rep. John Shimkus and is related to comedian Heather McDonald — saying he was her cousin.

"Cory was with Lindsay earlier in the evening but not present for the incident. Cory is also in no way related to the man involved," her spokesman, Drew Hunter, wrote in an email Monday.

The five of them stayed at Catch Restaurant for three hours before moving over to nearby Club Provocateur at 18 Ninth Ave., where they stayed for just a half hour before heading off en masse to 1 Oak Club at 453 W. 17th St.

The “Freaky Friday” star and her pals were then joined by Lohan’s her entertainment booker, Claus Hjelmback, and another man, Cedric Huegel.

The party of seven remained at 1 Oak for nearly three hours before Lohan, Omair, Huegel, Hjelmback and LaBella headed back to Lohan's suite at the W Hotel at 201 Park Ave. South near E. 16th St. Kennedy did not join them, sources said.
