FOREST HILLS — Forest Hills is getting in one more street fair before the weather turns cold.

The neighborhood's fall street fair, the Shop Forest Hills Festival, will offer upscale shopping and when it returns on Saturday, Sept.30.

Leslie Brown, president of the Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce, said via email that the festival, which will run along Austin Street from Yellowstone Boulevard to Ascan Avenue and begins at 10:00 a.m., will feature over 80 neighborhood vendors, including bakeries, jewelers, restaurants and area dance studios.

Unlike June's Festival of the Arts, the Fall festival will not feature entertainment acts, however there will be children's rides and arts and crafts.

"It is a neighborhood fair where you can meet your friends and neighbors," Brown said.

The Shop Forest Hills Festival will run until 6:00 p.m. for more information call the Forest Hills chamber of commerce at 718-268-6565 or visit http://www.foresthillschamber.org/.
