INWOOD — Beyonce and Jay-Z are crazy in love — with Upper Manhattan.
The New York power couple created a stir when they visited uptown hotspot La Marina just after 7 p.m. Sunday with an entourage in tow, sources told DNAinfo.com New York.
Beyonce wore a leopard Roberto Cavalli wrap dress with black platform heels, while Jay-Z donned a sportier denim jean jacket, white T-shirt and khaki pants. Their eight-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, stayed home.
Fans flooded Twitter to marvel at the superstar couple's visit to the popular Dyckman Street nightspot, which sources confirmed to DNAinfo.
"Shout out to jay-z & beyonce just took over dyckman," @slim174 posted on Instagram.
"Tha champ is here," tweeted @MrFrankBillini, whose photo of the couple arriving went viral on Twitter and Instagram.
Before Beyonce and Jay-Z's arrival, several people hinted at the planned visit on social media.
"#LaMarina warning! Warning! Warning! A very very big celebrity gues[t] coming," tweeted @GOTTiB13.
Chino Chavez, who co-owns nearby restaurant Papasito Mexican Grill And Agave Bar on Dyckman Street with La Marina co-owner Fernando Mateo, also announced the celebrity guests.
"Jay Z is on his way to La Marina. That's crazy right there. Make ya way there," he tweeted at 7 p.m.
For many, the famous duo's appearance signaled success for the still-new waterfront bar and restaurant, which just opened over the summer.
"La Marina just became the most popping spot in NYC," tweeted @Blueraydre.
"Everyone in the TriState area is gonna want to be at La Marina now," tweeted @Luv2luvMimi.
Added @Osmoises_Jones, "Jay Z at la marina? Who's next Barack Obama?"
Yet, others downplayed the couple's visit, noting that celebrities are nothing new at La Marina, which recently hosted Leonardo DiCaprio over Labor Day weekend.
"uptown has never seen soo many celebs until la marina, it's a nice spot pero I honestly don't think it's that big of a deal," wrote @JovitosWay.
