QUEENS — A 38-year-old woman with a history of fighting with her boyfriend allegedly snapped Wednesday, stabbing him to death inside the South Jamaica home they shared with their children, police said.

Jeffrey Perkins was found with a wound in his neck and in cardiac arrest inside of 133-04 145th St., near 133rd Avenue, when paramedics arrived about 6:30 a.m., police said.

Cops rushed to the scene and found Perkins' girlfriend Anna Adams, 38, along with her 12-year-old son and the 3-year-old son she had with Perkins.

"My husband is covered in blood," Adams, who is not legally married to Perkins, told the cops, according to Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly.

Kelly said It was unclear if the boys witnessed the alleged stabbing, but the older son may have observed "some of the turmoil going on."

Police found a grisly scene inside the apartment, including several locations covered in blood and a broken-off knife handle found at the scene, Kelly said. Adams was taken into custody at the scene and is expected to be charged with his murder, he said.

"He's stabbed in the neck," Kelly said a news conference at One Police Plaza, referring to Perkins. "[There are] pockets of blood in other locations in the house."

Police had been called to the family's home at least five times in the past six months for domestic disturbances, Kelly said.

Neighbors said Perkins and Adams had a tumultuous relationship that often became public.

Neighbor Afi Phoebe said she witnessed the couple fighting outside the building when they moved in, and claimed Adams tried to use a brick to smash Perkins' car window in. She said there was another altercation on Father's Day weekend.

"I was just stunned," said Phoebe.
