Man Shot in Head in Bedford-Stuyvesant

BROOKLYN — A 23-year-old man was shot in the head in Bedford-Stuyvesant on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The incident took place around 5:30 p.m. near Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Kosciuszko Street, a fire spokesman said.

Police said the man was sent to Woodhull Hospital. His condition was not immediately clear.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
