City, NYPD Offer $22K Reward in Shooting of 2-Year-Old Girl in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE — A $22,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the capture of the suspect or suspects involved in a drive-by shooting that left 2-year-old girl and five others wounded earlier this week.

The NYPD, the mayor's office and Crime Stoppers have chipped in to provide incentive for tipsters to come forward and offer information about the July 29 shooting that injured Ariyanna Prince, her father, Michael Prince, 25, and four other victims, including two teenagers.

A white Volkswagon drove by a crowd of people hanging out at Riverdale Avenue and Chester Street Sunday evening when shots rang out.

All of the victims survived.

The intended target appeared to be one of the teenagers, Andrew Void, 17, who was involved in a turf war with a rival gang, sources said.

No one has been arrested.
