'Smash' Star Megan Hilty Joins Theater Luminaries at 'Broadway Barks'

TIMES SQUARE — Broadway's gone to the dogs.

Mary Tyler Moore and Bernadette Peters welcomed many of their Broadway bretheren to Times Square's Shubert Alley Saturday night to celebrate the 14th annual Broadway Barks pet adoption event.

The benefit featured actors and performances from almost every show currently on the Great White Way. The event, held to encourage dog and cat adoption at New York City animal shelters and agencies, also featured such stars as Joel Grey, Linda Lavin, Rita Moreno, Nina Arianda, Megan Hilty, Angelica Huston and Audra McDonald showcasing specific pets available for adoption.
