25-Year-Old Man Shot in the Torso in The Bronx

A 25-year-old man was shot at Nelson Avenue and Featherbed Lane July 12, 2012.

THE BRONX — A 25-year-old man was shot in the torso in Morris Heights Thursday evening, fire officials said.

The man went into traumatic arrest after he was shot at Nelson Avenue and Featherbed Lane about 9 p.m. Thursday, an FDNY spokesman said.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, where his condition was not immediately known, the FDNY spokesman said.

The NYPD did not have immediately information about the incident.
