EAST VILLAGE — Actress Anne Hathaway joined other A-Listers Tuesday night at a screening of the new LCD Soundsytem documentary "Shut Up and Play the Hits," which chronicles the multi-member band's farewell concert last year at Madison Square Garden.

The screening at Village East Cinemas on Second Avenue drew such celebs as actors Greta Gerwig and John Leguizamo, comedian Aziz Ansari, fashion designer Charlott Ronson, Momofuku owner/chef David Chang and members of the band Vampire Weekend. 

The film follows LCD Soundsystem's frotnman James Murphy during a 48-hour period leading up to and immediately after the group's final performance at Madison Square Garden in April 2011.

The movie will be released nationally for one night only on July 18.
