CYPRESS HILLS — A 16-year-old girl was injured after falling onto the subway tracks at the Crescent Street train station Monday morning, officials said.

Paramedics rushed the teenager to Brookdale Hospital, but her condition was not immediately known.

It wasn't immediately clear why the girl fell in the station, located at Crescent and Fulton streets, at 7:50 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

Other passengers were able to pull her to safety, MTA officials said. There was no contact with a train, a spokesman said.

Service on the J and Z lines did not appear to be disrupted, according to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority website.
