Police Seek Suspected Murray Hill Burglar Caught on Video

MURRAY HILL — Police say a man suspected of two commercial burglaries in Murray Hill broke into a third business early Saturday.

The suspected burglar was caught on video when he broke into a commercial basement shared by a chicken restaurant and a pizza joint at 592 Third Ave. near East 39th Street, police said. The intruder didn't steal anything, but he damaged property when he forced his way into the basement door, police said.

The same man is wanted in connection with two commercial burglaries in the 17th Precinct, police said. He was described as about 6 feet to 6 feet, 2 inches tall, 180 to 190 pounds, bald, with tattoos on both arms. He was last seen wearing a blue or grey tank top, dark jeans and dark sneakers.

Cops are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspected burglar.
