FOREST HILLS — Looking to introduce your child to baseball but missed out on the chance to sign them up for little league? You've got a second chance; the Forest Hills Little League will hold its third annual summer camp in July at the Fleet Street Fields.
The camp, for children ages 6-12, is broken up in to three five-day sessions: July 9-13, July 16-20 and July 23-27. Each session runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and involves a morning training session run by current high school and college baseball players followed by afternoon baseball games grouped by age.
While the number of participants varies, league director Larry Berkowitz says that as many as 40 children can participate in a given week.
