QUEENS CRIMINAL COURT — That's one drive David Diehl won't soon forget.
The Giants offensive tackle had his driving privileges in New York stripped Monday following his arrest for a suspected drunk driving crash in Astoria a day earlier.
The veteran player, 31, was busted for the booze-fueled smashup after the die-hard Croatian soccer fan downed one too many drinks while watching the team play at an Astoria bar Sunday, authorities said.
After the wreck, Diehl, who was charged with DWI, registered a .182 blood alcohol level on a Breathalyzer test — more than twice the legal limit, authorities said.
According to court documents, the 304-pound lineman, who told cops another vehicle was pulling out when the fender-bender occurred, reeked of booze, had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech and was wobbly on his feet.
Diehl was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court Monday afternoon, sporting the same red-and-white checkered Croatia soccer jersey he was photographed in at the bar.
He barely flinched as a judge stripped his Big Apple driving privileges, though he can still drive in New Jersey, where he has a license.
Authorities said that about 8:20 p.m. Sunday, Diehl plowed into parked cars on 35th Street, near 31st Avenue, after reportedly watching the match at Scorpio Cafe and Bar in Astoria, where he was photographed with fellow fans.
"I was driving the BMW when another vehicle was pulling out as well," the New Jersey resident told police, according to the judge at his arraignment. "I was at a bar watching the Croatia game."
Diehl, who was released without bail, is scheduled to return to court July 26.
He faces up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted, according to the Queens District Attorney's office.
