Man Shot Dead on Queens Block

JAMAICA — A man was found shot to death early Saturday morning on a Queens residential block, police said. 

Police said they responded to a 911 call at 1:56 a.m. for a man shot at 106-44 Ruscoe St. in Jamaica.

Upon arriving, officers found the man, 34, with a gunshot wound in his torso. Rescuers transported the victim immediately to Jamaica Hospital, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police said there are no arrests at this time, and an investigation is ongoing. The man's identity had not been released, pending the family's notification, police said.
