QUEENS — A man was stabbed in the back in Springfield GardensThursday afternoon, fire officials said.
Paramedics responded to 144th Avenue and 181st Street just before 1 p.m. Thursday and found a man with a stab wound in his back, an FDNY spokesman said.
The victim was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in serious but stable condition, the FDNY said.
The circumstances of the attack were not immediately clear.
