A man was shot in the leg in Rochdale Village on June 5, 2012

QUEENS — A man was shot in the leg in Rochdale Village Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

The victim, who was not identified, was struck in the leg in front of 176-03 133rd Ave., near Baisley Boulevard South, about 4:30 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

The man was taken to Jamaica Hospital. His condition was not immediately known, but his injury did not appear to be life-threatening, the spokesman added.

The NYPD did not immediately have information about the shooting.
