BROOKLYN — A double shooting in an East New York bodega early Tuesday morning left one man dead and another injured, authorities said.

The victims were at the Super AAA Grocery & Deli at 114 Cozine Avenue just before 3:30 a.m., police said. They ordered a chicken of rice wrap, a steak hero, a 2-liter soda and a bottle of alcohol just before bullets started flying, a clerk said.

"When I went to go back and get the soda, I heard a shot like, 'Ta-ta-ta-ta!'" said Ali Saleh, 33, the clerk at the bodega. "I heard a guy say, 'Oy!' then screaming."

By the time cops arrived, a 32-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to his back, police said. The other victim, a 25-year-old man, was struck in the leg, cops added.

He made the 911 call, sources said.

Both were taken to Brookdale Hospital, where the older victim was pronounced dead. The other man was listed in stable condition, police said.

Police did not release the name of either victim.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation was ongoing.
