UPPER EAST SIDE — Upper East Siders will soon have something going on along Second Avenue besides subway construction.
Second Avenue Restaurant Week is scheduled to take place June 4-8 at eateries from 68th to 96th streets. Participating locations will either offer 20 percent off menu items or a prix fix dinner for $20.16.
Participating restaurants include Persepolis between 73rd and 74th streets (20 percent off food, but not wine or liquor), Sotto Cinque at 86th Street ($20.16 dinner special) and Don Pedro's between 96th and 97th streets (20 percent off food, but not wine or liquor).
Free tote bags will also be given out to the first diners at the start of the week.
Dinners are priced at $20.16 because that is when the Second Avenue Subway is expected to be completed.
