BROOKLYN — Two men were shot and wounded in Bushwick early Tuesday morning, authorities said.
The victims, both in their 20s, were hit by gunfire shortly before 2:30 a.m at 40 Weirfield St., FDNY officials said. They were taken to Brookdale Hospital in Brownsville with non-life-threatening injuries.
The men's identities were not released, and the extent of their injuries was unknown.
"This block is known for that," said Tiffany, a resident of the street who declined to give her last name.
"I've been living here for three years, and I've seen people killed and about a dozen others shot. I'm about looking to get out of here."
