STATEN ISLAND — Cops are hunting a man who robbed a Northfield Bank branch in Stapleton on May 1.
The man entered the Bay Street bank at about 11:15 a.m., passed a note to a teller demanding money, then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
The suspect is described as 25 to 35 years old, 5-foot-9 and 150 pounds. A white patch covered his right eye, and he was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans and dark glasses.
