FLUSHING — Peter Parker's coming back to his home borough.
Cast members from the Broadway mega-show "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" will be swinging into the New York Hall of Science in Queens to put on a special performance for kids — who will also get a lesson in Spidey science.
Kids and their parents can learn about the web-slinging super-hero, who got his powers after he was bitten by a radioactive spider, through a lesson in gene-splicing and the strengths of spider webs during the show at noon on May 27.
There will be a repeat show at the museum, at 47-01 111th St. in Corona, at 1 p.m.
It's unclear which cast members will be there.
According to organizers, the show is free with NYSCI admission. Tickets for the event will be given out on the day of the show on a first-come first-served basis.
NYSCI members can also get their picture taken with the cast members from Stan Lee's show at a meet-and–greet at 1:30 p.m.
The special performance comes after "Spider-Man's" troubled Broadway debut in June last year.
The $70 million show had a record-breaking 183 previews and months of technical flaws and drama including the ousting of its director Julie Taymor.
