24-Year-Old Man Shot to Death in Queens

ST. ALBANS — Police found a man who was shot multiple times in Queens early Saturday morning who died from his injuries, police said.

At approximately 4:15 a.m., police responded to reports that a man was shot in front of 184-23 Galway Ave. in St. Albans.

Responding officers found the man, who was 24 years old, with gunshot wounds in his arm, leg, and torso, police said.

Rescuers transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital, but where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The family of the victim had not yet been notified at press time, police said.

No arrests have been made in response to the shooting incident, but police said an investigation is ongoing.
