Police Hunt Suspects in Bronx Knifepoint Livery Cab Robbery

BRONX — Police are searching for two men wanted for the knifepoint robbery of a livery cab robbery in The Bronx this week.

On Monday about 3:40 p.m., the two male suspects were picked up by a livery cab at 125th Street and Fifth Avenue in Harlem, police said.

After taking the cab to 804 E. 138th St. in Port Morris, the suspects held a knife to the male dirver's throat, and swiped his cell phone and wallet before fleeing on foot, police said.

The knife-wielding suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, plaid button-down shirt, light pants and dark do-rag, police said. His accomplice was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
