QUEENS — Cops are asking for the public's help in trying to find an 87-year-old mentally unstable man who hopped in his vehicle Thursday afternoon and hasn't been seen since.

Arthur Coleman, 87, walked out of his 166th Street home in Flushing and got into his 2005 Gray Mazda Thursday about 1 p.m., police said, and then disappeared.

The license plate number on the vehicle is BXA 9651, cops said.

Police said Coleman is in good physical condition, but his mental health is poor.

The NYPD released a photo of him on Friday.

Police say Coleman is 5-feet-10 and weighs 200 pounds. He was wearing dark blue jeans and a gray sweat shirt when he went missing.

Anyone with information about Coleman's whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS, log onto www.nypdcrimestoppers.com, or texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577.
