WASHINGTON HEIGHTS — Emergency crews were seen on and around the George Washington Bridge Wednesday after reports that someone jumped off the span, officials said.

NYPD Harbor units and U.S. Coast Guard rescue boats were searching the bridge and the Hudson River after calls came in that a man in his 20s plunged into the Hudson River, officials said.

It was unclear if the person actually jumped, as officials said they received conflicting reports from witnesses.

Rescue units were still on scene nearly an hour after the initial calls came in.
