WILLIAMSBURG — Prospective buyers attending Sunday’s open house for 20 Broadway were impressed by the 1,000-square-foot two-bedroom conversion’s two spacious outdoor terraces with sweeping views of the Williamsburg Bridge and the East River.

Some also gawked at the duplex’s custom-designed and state-of-the-art kitchen featuring Viking and Miele appliances, and many were taken with the location — in the heart of south Williamsburg.

"The vibe in this area is just great,” said one house hunter who’s been looking for the perfect pad for two months. “It’s very competitive in this neighborhood. I love the high ceilings, the space and the views — they’re beautiful, I’d say impossible to beat."

Another potential buyer, who owns property in England and is looking to invest in New York for the first time, admitted that her search was wholly neighborhood-based.

"I’m looking for a two bedroom, two bath in waterside Williamsburg," she said. "I’m very specific."

With a budget of $1.3 million or less, she’s seen the majority of properties available in the area — and found 20 Broadway especially charming.

"The terraces are fabulous and the kitchen is very high-end,” she said. “I love that I wouldn’t have to do any additional work to this place."

One couple, who were six weeks into their apartment search, said their primary criteria were aesthetics, outdoor space, light and a "solid building."

They were impressed on all counts.

"Really, it’s good on all levels,” said one half of the couple. “The views are very special, and they aren’t going anywhere because the unit’s on the edge of the water. And the pricing is in line with what we’ve seen.”
