BROOKLYN — Police arrested one of the drivers involved in the high-speed crash in Sheepshead Bay late Saturday night that left one man dead and sent two others to the hospital, authorities said.

Beka Skhirtladze, 26, of Bath Beach, was charged with criminally negligent homicide, vehicular manslaughter, reckless endangerment and reckless driving, police said.

Skhirtladze was allegedly driving more than 90 miles per hour at the time of the crash — three times the speed limit, the Daily News reported.

At 11:45 p.m. Saturday, Skhirtladze and a female passenger were roaring south on Ocean Parkway in a BMW M6 when he lost control at Avenue X, the NYPD said. The BMW slammed into a divider and ricocheted into oncoming traffic, where it struck a Ford Windstar minivan being driven by 23-year-old Jamal Iqual, police added.

Iqual, a Sheepshead Bay resident, was rushed to Coney Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. Skhirtladze was taken to Kings County Hospital.

His passenger, a 30-year-old woman, was transported to Lutheran Medical Center, police noted. Both were listed in stable condition.
