STATEN ISLAND — An infant girl was found dead inside a Clifton home late Monday, authorities said.
Genesis Monge, who was 6 months old, was discovered unconscious at 236 Steuben St. after police responded to a 911 call about 10:19 p.m. Monday, NYPD officials said.
The child was taken to Staten Island University North Hospital and pronounced dead.
There were no visible signs of trauma on the infant, and the city medical examiner will determine the cause of death, police said.
