BROOKLYN — An elderly woman was shot to death by her husband at their Sea Gate home Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Angela Devito, 71, was shot in the chest inside the home on Neptune Avenue, near Seagate Avenue, just before 2 p.m., police said.
The victim's husband, Angelo Devito, 75, was charged with murder and criminal weapons possession in the incident, police said.
A uniformed police officer was blocking the entrance to the gated community hours after the shooting.
It was not clear what sparked the shooting.
