Man Shot to Death on Melrose Street

A man was shot to death in front of 285 E 156th St. on April 15, 2012

BRONX — A man was shot to death on a Melrose street early Sunday morning, police said.

The 26-year-old victim was found with a gunshot wound to the head in front of 285 E. 156th St., near Morris Avenue, just before 5:15 a.m.

He was rushed to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

It was not clear what sparked the bloodshed and no arrests were made.
