UPPER EAST SIDE — A fire broke out on the first floor of an East 75th Street building Wednesday afternoon, fire officials said.

More than 60 firefighters were trying to put out the one-alarm blaze at 130 E. 75th St., near Lexington Avenue, an FDNY spokesman said.

Firefighters were still working on the fire at the 11-story building about 30 minutes after it started, the spokesman added.

It was not immediately clear what sparked the blaze.
