Man Struck and Killed by Subway at Spring Street Identified
MANHATTAN — The man who was struck and killed by a subway train at Spring Street Saturday has been identified, police said.
Michael Ice, 22, of Rye, NY, was hit by a southbound 6 train as he walked on the tracks just before 6 a.m., police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not immediately clear why he was on the tracks, but no criminality was suspected, police said.
