HARLEM — A teen survived a gunshot wound to the head on West 116th Street in Harlem early Saturday, authorities said.

The 18-year-old male victim was struck by the gunfire shortly before 1 a.m. on West 116th Street near Seventh Avenue, police said.

He was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, fire officials said.

It was not immediately clear what sparked the shooting.
