MANHATTAN — Stacy Keibler's "Dancing with the Stars" success was not a fluke — she was a ringer, taking dance lessons since she was a young girl, and dancer Jenna Dewan can vouch for her skills.

"We've known each other since we were like 10," Dewan told DNAinfo at the Marchesa show at the Plaza. "We're from Baltimore, Maryland, and we danced for kind of competing studios."

Both Dewan (wife of "The Vow's" Channing Tatum) and Keibler were decked out by Marchesa for the show, Dewan in strapless pink and Keibler in a fiery red lace column that fit her like second skin. But George Clooney, Keibler's regular companion, was nowhere to be seen, neither at Marchesa nor earlier at Michael Kors.

Stanley Tucci and his fiancee Felicity Blunt (yes, Emily’s sister) could speak of nothing but their coming nuptials at the Nanette Lepore show Wednesday morning. “It's going to be in September, in England,” Tucci told DNAinfo.

“It's going to be loud and raucous,” Blunt said, adding that not all of the arrangements have been made. "The wedding dress is set, but we need to find bridesmaids dresses to match it," Tucci said.
Designers, here’s your chance.

Working long hours during fashion week doesn’t always mean Valentine’s Day gets overlooked. Model Tyson Beckford made sure his girlfriend model Shanina Shaik felt the love. "She had to work and didn't get home until about nine,” Beckford told DNAinfo at the Nanette Lepore show, which Shaik was walking in. “We took a bath, I gave her a massage and put her to sleep.” We should all be so lucky.

"Jane by Design" star Erica Dasher plays a fashionista on television and got to see the real fashion world this week attending many shows including Peter Som, Prabal Gurung, BCBG and Nanette Lepore.

“This is overwhelming. There's a lot of magic in television in creating a world that feels like this,” she told DNAinfo. “I think a lot of the fashion world takes itself very seriously and I feel the need to be very adult at these shows.” We get the fashion taking itself seriously thing, but adults? Are we attending the same shows?

Reed Krakoff has a budding designer, not at his company or at Coach, where he is president and creative director, but at home. “Of all my children, she is the designer. She designs shoes all day,” said Reed’s wife, Delphine Krakoff gesturing to their 5-year-old daughter Maude.

A sad note was struck Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Wednesday, when long-time nightlife impresario and fashion fan Zelda Kaplan, 95, collapsed just prior to the start of the Joanna Mastroianni fashion show. She was later pronounced dead at Roosevelt Hospital.

Kaplan was known for her love of the nightlife, making rounds to the hottest clubs and staying out until the early morning hours, drinking water out of a champagne glass. She was rarely without her oversized owl sunglasses and a tall hat in an African print.

IMG, the producers of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, issued this statement on Wednesday night: “We were saddened to learn of Zelda's death earlier today. She was a strong and remarkable presence at Fashion Week each season, and will be greatly missed.”

Mastroianni’s show was dedicated to another nonagenerian, the 90-year-old Iris Apfel, who is iconic in creative circles for her fashion acumen and accessories. And separately a friend of Kaplan’s, fashion photographer Lillian Bassman, passed away earlier this week at the age of 94.
