HARLEM — A heated argument led to bloodshed late Tuesday when an East Harlem man stabbed his roommate to death, police said.

Jose Guevara, 43, allegedly stabbed Ramon Wolmart, 25, repeatedly in their apartment at 230 E. 123rd St. about 10:20 p.m., police said.

Wolmart was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Guevara, who has seven prior arrests, was charged with first-degree assault, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.

A knife was recovered, police sources said, but cops were still trying to determine if it was the weapon used in the attack.

The two men had argued before the stabbing, but it was unclear why they fought, sources said.
