Bike-Riding Thief Snatches iPhone from Woman on Park Avenue

MANHATTAN — Police are looking for a man who allegedly snatched an iPhone from a woman's grip as he whirled by on his bike along Park Avenue.

The woman, an unidentified 38-year-old, was standing on the corner of East 91st Street and Park Avenue on Jan. 25 about about 3:30 p.m. when the man pedaled past her, grabbing her phone. He then fled north on Park, police said.

Police believe the man is in his 30s and was wearing a dark colored waist-length coat, blue jeans and multi-colored sneakers with red laces. He was riding a dark colored mountain bike.
