Fort Hamilton Parkway Accident Injures Two Pedestrians, One Critically Updated January 22, 2012 8:11pm

BROOKLYN — A 60-year-old woman was left clinging to life Sunday night after she and a man were struck by a car in Dyker Heights, authorities said.

The victims were struck at 72nd Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway just before 7 p.m., the FDNY said, about a half hour before two other people were struck and suffered life-threatening injuries at 65th Street and 14th Avenue in Borough Park.

The female victim was rushed to Lutheran Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The male victim, 30, was taken to Lutheran Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There was no immediate word on what caused the crash.
