Police Searching for Man Who Fired Gun at Car in East Harlem Updated January 20, 2012 6:23pm

HARLEM — Police are searching for a man who allegedly shot at a car in broad daylight with three passengers inside in East Harlem Wednesday.

The man fired at the windshield and passenger side door of a Honda Civic at Second Avenue and 110th Street about 2:45 p.m. while two teen boys, ages 15 and 16, and a 50-year-old man were inside the vehicle, police said.

No one in the car was hit by the bullets, and the suspect fled the scene, police added.

The suspect is described as a man in his late teens to early 20 wearing a black jacket with white stripes on the sleeves, blue jeans and black sneakers, police said.
