BROOKLYN — A person was struck by a subway train in Downtown Brooklyn Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

The victim was hit by the southbound 4 train just before 5:30 p.m. at the Borough Hall Station.

Authorities said the condition of the victim was not immediately clear.

During the investigation, downtown 4 train service was halted at the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station, according to the MTA.

Downtown 5 trains were running on the 2 line from the 149th Street-Grand Concourse station in The Bronx to the Nevins Street station in Brooklyn, the agency said.
