Fire on East 117th Street Leaves One Dead, One Injured
MANHATTAN — One person was killed and another injured Sunday afternoon in a fire in East Harlem, fire sources said.
The blaze broke out on the sixth floor of 58 E. 117th St, near Madison Avenue around 4 p.m., according to the FDNY.
One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another person suffered minor injures and was taken to New York Hospital, fire officials said.
