MANHATTAN — 2011 is going out like a lamb.

Mild temperatures are expected throughout the New Year's Eve festivities in Times Square Saturday night.

Forecasters expect the mercury to be around 45 degrees at midnight with a 7 mph wind out of the west northwest under mostly clear skies, according to AccuWeather.com.

Before that, revelers can expect temperatures to hover in the mid 40s, perfect to watch Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and the other stars perform as well as the ball drop at midnight.

Check in with Accuweather for the latest forecast.

New York Police Department officers walk through Times Square after the annual ball drop January 01, 2011 in New York City. This year a 11,875-pound Waterford crystal ball descended a 141-foot tall flagpole to mark the beginning of 2011.
