MANHATTAN — The drag queens are sashaying uptown.

Lucky Cheng’s, the famed cross-dressing cabaret, has announced plans to ditch the East Village for a larger spot in Times Square, where it can attract more tourists.

Owner Hayne Suthon told The Local East Village that the move to 52nd Street  will happen sometime in the next six months. But Suthon would not name the new address because the lease hasn’t been signed yet. She hopes to have two stages, an all-you-can-eat buffet and seating for 350 people.

The East Village has changed considerably since the club first opened in 1993, Suthon said, with more celebrity chef-run restaurants and boutique hotels.

“We’re part of the neighborhood, but the locals don’t come here," she said. "The Gray Line [tourist] bus announces us when they go by, but how do we get them to come back down here?”

Lucky Cheng’s current home at 24 First Ave. is on the market for $25,000 a month, Grub Street reported.
