MANHATTAN — Here's a look inside the brand new Apple Store at Grand Central Terminal, which is set to open Friday.

The store will span 23,000 square-feet on the station's east balcony and will overlook the main concourse. Until recently, the space had been covered by a black shroud with an electric sign that read like a train schedule telling commuters the store was coming soon.

Apple fans had hoped the store would open on Black Friday, after rumors hit the web that it would be open in time for the busiest shopping day of the year.

The store will feature two Genius bars, and employ more than 300 people, the Wall Street Journal reported.
