MANHATTAN — A homeless man was struck and killed by a motorcycle while crossing the intersection of West 57th Street and 10th Avenue early Friday morning, police said.

Ronald Vernicek, 58, was struck by the motorcyclist traveling eastbound on West 57th Street about 2:45 a.m., the NYPD said.

Emergency crews found the man outside 458 W. 57th St. with trauma to the body and transported him to St. Luke's–Roosevelt Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The 22-year-old woman driving the 2011 Honda motorcycle was taken to Cornell Hospital for head trauma and is listed in stable condition, police added.

There was no criminality suspected, officials said.
