Teens Try to Mug Woman Near Central Park Carousel

MANHATTAN — A group of teens tried to mug a woman in Central Park in broad daylight Wednesday afternoon, police sources said.

Four teens allegedly approached the 20-year-old victim on Center Drive, near the Carousel at 12:20 p.m.

Sources said that a struggle ensued as they tried to grab her pocketbook before fleeing.

The victim was not injured and no arrests were made, according to cops.
